HOME ALONE COURSE
DESIGNED FOR CHILDREN 9.5/10 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER WHO NEED THE SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE TO BE SAFE AND RESPONSIBLE WHEN ALONE FOR SHORT PERIODS OF TIME.
COURSE CONTENT
Ideally, children should be supervised at all times by a responsible adult. However, today's family situations often cannot accommodate this idea. The Home Alone Program is designed to provide children with the necessary skills and knowledge to be safe and responsible when alone.
It will help them understand how to prevent problems, handle real-life situations, and keep them safe and constructively occupied.

GRADUATION
The Home Alone portion of this course will qualify mature 9 or 10 year olds to stay home alone for a few hours while waiting for parents to arrive. Siblings 7 to 8 years old can attend at a reduced rate.
Each Home Alone graduate will receive a Canada Safety Council manual and certificate.
